Arnold J. Rubenstein served as CEO of United Radio Service for seventeen years until his retirement in 2003. A lifelong resident of Syracuse, he received his B.S. in electrical engineering from Syracuse University and served in Germany on active duty with the United States Air Force. His diverse community involvement spans over four decades, including service in various capacities (PTA president, vice president and the board of directors) with Temple Adath Yeshurun for nearly thirty years. Mr. Rubenstein has devoted significant time to the Syracuse Israel Bond Committee as chairman; the advisory board of B.O.C.E.S.; the Better Business Bureau, National Panel of Arbitrators; and as president of the Antique & Classic Boat Society, Finger Lakes Chapter. His current interests include volunteering with the Hiawatha Council, Boy Scouts of America. Additionally, he serves on the board of directors for the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton. Mr. Rubenstein is married with two children and lives in Fayetteville.
