Mr. Janowski is a licensed pharmacist, real estate broker, developer and private pilot. He currently serves as president of the Tri-R Neighborhood Pharmacy chain, a group of eight independent drug stores with locations in New York and Florida. Mr. Janowski is the managing general partner of the Bayberry Plaza and Clay Medical Center. He owns and manages the Bayberry Office Building and has been instrumental in growing the Carlson Wagonlit Travel Agency since he assumed ownership in 2002. His duties in his real estate holdings have included financial packaging, leasing, construction and overall management.
Mr. Janowski received his broker’s license in 1996. He holds a BS from Albany College of Pharmacy, Union University, Albany, NY and holds licensure in Vermont, Florida and New York State.
Mr. Janowski is past president of the Onondaga County Pharmaceutical Society. In addition, he has served as a board trustee of Alliance College, a Polish-funded college in Cambridge Springs, PA; as a financial board advisor of Bishop Ludden High School; and is a past present of the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce. In 2007, he was named “Business Man of the Year” by the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Janowski has been actively involved in collecting and sending clothing to Poland. He is involved in the building and construction of a new Little League Baseball Stadium in Warsaw, and led in the raising of money in the Syracuse area for the funding. He initiated and led the drive for the funding of the building of the first Little League Baseball field in Poland, dedicated in June, 1990 in Jaslo.
Mr. Janowski is a board member of WCNY; St. Mary’s Building Fund; the National Kidney Foundation; and Bryant and Strattton College. He is a member of AOPA; Syracuse Hall of Fame; and the Onondaga County Republican Finance Committee.
In addition to flying as a private pilot, Mr. Janowski enjoys golfing and fishing.
