Lynn H. Smith, Esq. is one of the founding members of the law firm of Gilberti Stinziano Heintz & Smith, P.C. Mr. Smith is a business lawyer specializing in contract negotiation, complex financing, strategic planning and implementation. He advises entrepreneurs in forming businesses and raising capital as well as personnel, banking and other necessary components of such activities. Mr. Smith provides counsel in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, leveraged leasing, commercial real estate transactions, joint venture agreements, Internet marketing agreements, Internet joint ventures and software development. Over the years, he has invested for himself, members of his firm and others in many start-ups and private equity funds. Mr. Smith has acted as counsel to the New York State Senate, and to its Health and Public Authorities Committees. He serves on the board of directors and executive committee for the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce and was a former chairman. In addition, he is a director of Sensis Corporation, the Central New York Jewish Community Foundation, the Jewish Home of Central New York Foundation and has led several United Way division campaigns. Mr. Smith attended Cornell University, and earned his L.L.B. from the Syracuse University College of Law. He is active in the New York State and Onondaga County Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
