Michael J. Reilly, CPA/ABV, CVA, CDA is with Dannible & McKee, LLP, and serves as the partner in-charge of the firm’s tax department and health care services group. He has approximately twenty-eight years of experience in income and estate taxation, with a strong emphasis in individual and corporate tax planning, business valuations and employee benefits Along with his focus on corporate tax planning, Mr. Reilly has developed an expertise in implementing qualified and non-qualified employee benefit plans. He co-authored a course on business valuation, ownership transition and the creative use of employee benefit plans and ESOP’s. He has written numerous articles, has been quoted in various trade publications and frequently is tapped to lecture on business valuation, ownership transition, corporate tax planning, and other tax related topics. He is a member of the teaching faculty for the NYSSCPA’s Foundation for Accounting Education and was chairman of the NYSSCPA’s 1994 and 1995 Annual Tax Conferences. Mr. Reilly received his undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude from LeMoyne College. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of New York, Pennsylvania, and Vermont. The other current affiliations include, but are not limited to membership with the: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); LeMoyne College CPE Advisory Council (past); National CPA Health Care Advisors Association (HCAA); American Society of Appraisers (ASA); Certified Design Association of Accountants; Foundation for Accounting Education (FAE) Teaching Faculty; and Manufacturers Association of Central New York (MACNY). Mr. Reilly is on the board of directors of the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce and is the current chairman of the board for Benefit Specialists of NY (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce). He is active in several committees and community organizations.
