Victor Ianno is an experienced businessman and real estate developer
who successfully grew and sold two printing companies in Central New York (Scotsman
Press in Syracuse and Lakeside Printing in Skaneateles). Mr. Ianno is
a past president and board member of the National Association of Advertising
Publishers. He
has also served as a board member and president of Free Community Papers of
New York and as board member and treasurer of Certified Audit of Circulation,
an industry monitoring organization. Mr. Ianno has played an active leadership
role in many community organizations, with particular emphasis on economic
development and mentoring budding entrepreneurs. He has served on the
Economic Development Committee of the Skaneateles Chamber of Commerce and for
many years volunteered his time to the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce
by guiding first time entrepreneurs as they struggled with the details of setting
up and managing their fledgling businesses. Mr. Ianno has been a board
member and past president of the St. Thomas More Foundation at Syracuse University
and received the St. Thomas More Medal from the university’s Catholic
Center in recognition of his service to the organization and the community. Mr.
Ianno is a graduate of North High School.
