William Greener is a registered patent attorney with Bond Schoeneck & King, PLLC. Mr. Greener’s practice covers the full range of Intellectual Property Law including patent, trademark, copyright, agreements and licensing in advanced technologies such as nanotechnology, microfluidics, optics, lasers, medical devices, ophthalmic surgery apparatus, imaging systems, semiconductor devices, biodynamics, photonics, telecommunications, software, business architecture and e-commerce. He was law clerk to Chief Judge Michael A. Telesca (Retired) of the Western District of New York. Mr. Greener is passionate about working with entrepreneurial start-ups and university spin-outs to secure foundation IP and freedom to operate opinions. He holds a B.S. in physics from Canisius College, Buffalo; a M.S. in optical engineering from the Institute of Optics, University of Rochester; and a JD from SUNY Buffalo. He is a former farmer, engineer, and the owner of Cloud 17 Vineyard. Mr. Greener enjoys Zydeco dancing, trades in fine violins and bows and is a student of the fiddle. Bill is married and lives in Richford.
